God I fucking love this movie. And I deeply miss John Spencer, what an incredible talent. Stanley Goodspeed is a phenomenal name. Like the James Bond fan theory.

Woo! Yeah! Woohoo! - isn't a favorable reaction to a Michael Bay flick. The Rock though is one of the few that hit the mark. A slammin' good time I had, putting aside some bad lines and a low quality Nicolas Cage ("Let's cut the chit-chat, A-HOLE!"). The explosions are there, of course, but not to full extent. It's a 'Bay' film with a little less 'Bay' than usual. Amen for that. GRADE: B+

The rock es el lado inteligente de Michael Bay y por más que cueste admitir logra ser más interesante que sus absurdos efectos especiales y explosiones sin sentido, sin duda una entretenida historia muy bien guiada por Sean Connery y Nicolas Cage.
