V/H/S/Halloween
Eu acho filmes antológicos temáticos de terror muito bom, principalmente quando ele se permite uma abordagem mais surreal e sendo V/H/S uma das franquias mais longevas e que brinca com o formato de Found Footage, ele tem alguns filmes mais fracos, mas os melhores reúnem as melhores coletâneas de terror. E em Halloween não é diferente, desde a idéia de um produto tão perigoso quanto saboroso, como a "Diet Phantasma" que lembra demais a dinâmica de Halloween 3: Noite das Bruxas, tem também os segmento mais cômicos e violentas como "Fun Size" que cria todo um cenário de Backrooms, até o macabro "Kidprint" que fala sobre um serial Killer que no final vence, o infantilismo macabro de "Coochie Coochie Coo", a figura da mãe maldita e o cruel e comicamente mórbido "Home Haunt" que é a casa do terror mais mortal e divertida do mundo, gosto que aqui o Found Footage sobrenatural mais clássico veio de autoria do Paco Plaza que consegue tanto trabalhar o terror quanto a comédia no seu "Ut Supra Sic Infra". Divertido e um dos melhores da franquia!

V/H/S/Halloween
Guys wake up! The new V/H/S series just dropped! And it's totally a banger! After watching all V/H/S Series, this and first V/H/S are my favorite. But i don't know maybe just three out of six segment that would called from VHS. This is my favorite segments: 1. Fun Size (it was really fun, ridiculous and gross, i do not want take a candy with weird name anymore, yuck!) 2. Kidprint (the MOST disturbing segment i've ever watch (maybe) this segment is so sickening cuz this also happen in real life to kids) 3. Coochie Coochie Coo (mommy issue segment, but i love all the creatures) 4. Home Haunt (Good ghost house anyway, poor all the characters but they're so annoying at first, so deserved ig?) 5. Diet Phantasma (is the soda okay? Too much carbonated and sugar will make you like this) 6. Ut Supra Sic Infra (don't get me wrong it's good and gory but i little didn't understand what's going on, stupid police anyway) Yeah so i like all of the segment, you guys should watch it to make you halloween more spooky! Happy Halloween months!

Night 3 of 31 Nights of Halloween Now y’all may be thinking that I’m overexaggerating with a 5 star rating. But really, I genuinely had the time of my life watching this latest addition to the V/H/S franchise. It’s no surprise that Halloween is my favorite holiday, and seeing that it was the theme of this year’s installment made me extremely excited to see what was going to be featured, and I’m so glad to say that every short delivered exactly what I was wanting out of this collection. It’s no exaggeration when I say that this features the single best short that we’ve seen out of the franchise so far, and is the strongest and most cohesive whole what we’ve seen as well. It’s so much fun seeing directors play around with such a fun holiday, and it’s clear that the filmmakers also had a blast. Watching these films every year has been so much fun, and I really hope that they continue making these every year, since there are so many different ideas that they still could come up with. I just finished watching this, but I really want to just go and put it on, since I really had so much fun with this collection. I know this isn’t going to be for everyone, as every other V/H/S film has that potential, but it feels like this one was specifically catered to me, and I enjoyed every minute of it. (And, to be honest, I genuinely despise the poster that is out for this film. It captures zero essence of the holiday and spirit of the shorts, so I’m hoping we eventually get to see a new poster, though I don’t think we ever will unfortunately)
