Snake Eyes
What a playful movie! I forgot just how much fun it has with itself, while also highlighting just how cartoonish a lot of noir can be. The genre really does hit some memorable points when it's just relishing in itself a bit, flexing because it likes the look of it. The interlaced timeline is handled with slick precision, switching in-and-out with a POV approach that's a little bit of a gimmick but a *fun* one. Enjoyed the re-watch, good reminder to get going on the De Palma's I haven't seen yet.

Snake Eyes
DePalma again proves to be a virtuosic director. Cage turns even mediocre material into something fascinating.
