Cult of Chucky

The latest incantation of the killer doll Chucky takes yet another turn for the darker, sticking to the same vein as the previous film Curse of Chucky. While it may be darker, it isn't as good as the previous installment, as this film started to get very repetitive, something that the series has struggled with as a whole. With most franchises, seeing the same character do the same thing over and over and get a little redundant, and that's exactly what's happening with this series. The previous film changed the tone of the film and made it seem like a completely different series, which was nice and fresh, but this film continues to do the same thing and keep on doing kills and really nothing else, essentially just being like Seed of Chucky or Bride of Chucky all over again. That being said, this still was an entertaining film that I'd gladly watch over again with friends.

This one was crazy. So many things that tie this franchise together. I'm glad this is the last film because it's a good ending In my opinion. And yes I'll watch the tv show lol. One of the kills chucky had in this I fully agreed with cause I hate that Dr.Foley guy. I also really liked the fact that there were multiple chuckys. Cool to see Andy back in the mix, too bad he basically does nothing. Also I do like nica as the main character well until that end if you know what I mean. Also I had no clue any of these films had credit scenes. Kyle cameo is a big W.

Really enjoyed this one. Some fun and gruesome deaths, the “cult,” the return of Andy, lots of good stuff.
