"Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure", directed by Stephen Herek, was a most amazing watch! It's standard 80's hijinx for the most part, but it's carried heavily by just how wholesome and cute Keanu and Alex Winter are together. It really feels like you're just watching two lifelong best friends throughout. There are also some fascinating uses of time travel here towards the end that I found very cool. No need to explain things or info dump, just keep the plot moving and the vibes coming. Add in a cute Joan of Arc, and you've got yourself a hell of a picture! Also, what the fuck, I did NOT know George Carlin was in this!
