The World Is Not Enough

This is Brosnans best Bond so far, with an interesting plot and unique characters. The twist of Elektra being the villain is great, and Christmas is a fun Bond Girl. The action was also notabley better in the one.

The World Is Not Enough

Huh. Wow, we liked this a lot more than expected. I hadn't remembered much going in, but in the grand conflaguration of endless Bond marathon this was filmed really well, with lots of allowance for the actors to breathe, scenes to unfold. All the action is still largely analog, the villain stuff going on in this one is fantastic (or at least we dig what the actors do with it), and it might just take up a spot alongside GoldenEye. Actually lost a tear or two as Desmond Llewelyn descended out of view and out of Q :*)

“There’s no point in living, if you can’t feel alive.” THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGHhad a promising start but clearly, the tank was already on empty because the film stalled out shortly after it began. Though, I do like a lot of the ideas. Thankfully many of them would go on to be incorporated in Skyfalland used to much better effect. Brosnan’s weakest entry.
