Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde succeeds in creating some fantastic effects through double exposure that make this film really stand out. It’s 100 years old, but doesn’t feel it at all. It’s a story that is very well-known, but still feels relevant and fresh, and this adaptation certainly fits that. It’s a quick and entertaining watch, and I’d love to see the restoration on this that Kino released, since the copy I watched wasn’t the best quality.
