Needed more bride, only three minutes is a crime, but those three minutes are great. The last half hour is good, the first 45 minutes are okay if not a bit too slow, would’ve much preferred the bride to come alive earlier and play more on the two monster dynamic. She might just be the best looking monster ever created.  She’s alive

I really enjoyed a lot of what’s going on here, visually stunning with the use of shadows/lighting, and the themes they are exploring. To echo almost every other review: the titular Bride deserved to have more screen time, seriously; almost immediately after she’s brought to life she’s blown to bits. Better than the original film, but I think I’d rather re-read Shelley’s novel when it comes to the story of Frankenstein.

Just as gripping as the first film, The Bride of Frankenstein is another great Universal film that showcases how great sets can set the mood for a picture. Gorgeous beyond words.
