The Changeling
A noble haunting all around and surprisingly heartfelt. George C. Scott's film presence almost usurps any dad character he might play, but it remains satisfying to see his troubled man work through grief and ghost alike, offering to both forces a certain respect and resolution.
The Changeling
The Changelingcreates a captivating story with a thick, unsettling atmosphere that makes it one of the better haunted house horror films from the 80ās.
The Changeling
good haunted house movie. really atmospheric with a bunch of nice tracking shots and the house itself is beautifully spooky.
The Changeling
āelevated horrorā before that was ever a thing, and ten times better than what those assholes cook up. it takes a lot for a movieĀ to keep me up and thatās exactly what this did. no true villain and the horror is mostly really sad. feels like an expanded proof of concept for amityville horror (mostly the climactic scenes mirroring it)
