A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
The 4th film in the Freddy Kreuger franchise, we get extremely interesting deaths, but nothing much. As this series continues, I can see it diminishing. The first film was fantastic, and they had a great idea, so they kept rolling with it. While there are unique deaths, this falls into the similar fate of the Saw franchise. Once you get past the third film, things just start to fall apart. I really hope that this film gets some redemption in the next movies, since I see this going downhill really quickly. Sidenote: I wonder if they have a team of writers just to think of witty comebacks that Freddy says, since they keep coming out with some pretty decent ones.

Man, this one was just boring. It takes all the things about "Dream Warriors" that work and gets rid of them. The effects are cool at times but other than that, this one is just meh. I appreciate Andras Jones trying to do his best Christian Slater impression but it's not enough to make this one enjoyable. It's just a riff on the first film but with more forgettable characters and nothing new of interest
