Uma sequência que no começo você acha que vai ser uma releitura da sequência do filme original, mas ele tenta ser algo subversivo, uma espécie de análise sobre o trauma da sobrevivente de seu filme anterior. Usando uma linguagem espiritual/mental usando a imagem da mãe na mente de Michael (uma coisa bem Pamela Vorhees). Mas que sinceramente... Só soa brega, cansativo e com atuações que pelo amor de Deus. Não vou nem citar as motivações de personagens que é uma pior que a outra. Um filme de terror que na verdade é um terror de filme.

Alright, so maybe this is closer to the maximalist Zombie experience? While the aesthetic itself isn't my own I can certainly enjoy the supreme commitment to it. (Just the fact they let him go whole hog is a kind of amazement.) Not a fan of 'apocalypse Viking' Michael. Not even a fan of the connective vision quest. Forever a fan of kids wearing an absurdly oversized mask in the bleakest of contexts. Brad Dourif deserves his sticky bun. Starting to get tired, but overall having fun with exploring all these different takes through the years.
