I find it incredibly bonkers that a horror franchise as silly and reckless as Leprechaun was surprisingly able to churn out a pretty alright sequel twenty five years in. The past two weeks I've had the delight to witness this franchise and every venturous step it took with each film — I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy each and every one — and wrapping it up with this very new and direct sequel to 1993's Leprechaun has resulted in one of the most memorable franchise viewing experiences I've had. And despite Warwick Davis' absence as the main man, Leprechaun Returns is as good as any other of its wacky predecessors and perhaps even better. 3.1/5
