Wrong Turn

i don’t know, whatever? the main characters were all hot and likable enough but the guy with the most lively personality gets got halfway through, at which point the movie sort of locks in to do its required checkboxes and leaves us with just sort of empty archetypal character outlines going through their horror movie motions, and to me it suffered for it. also docking points for the beat to death mutated lunatic incest family, a trope that’s not exactly unpopular in horror but, still, there’s a reason it went out of style — it’s nonsensical, mean-spirited, and just generally gets old. again: i don’t know, whatever. i mostly watched for eliza. unless you just wanna see hot people be hot and get murdered and kill some time, you’re probably better off watching the hills have eyes or something adjacently the-same-but-less-tired.

Soooo boring and making nonsense, it's not too brutal too, i was so confused. Anyway why did they make so many franchises out of this movie? There's even a reboot, and I also watched this before the prequel (Wrong Turn 4). I've already gotten the timeline wrong and that makes me even more annoyed with this movie.

Definitely a guilty pleasure film, but when it’s as fun as Wrong Turnis, there’s no guilt at all. Showcases the power of suggestion and highlights how stunning practical effects can look, regardless of budget. Just a fun, fun time!

Night 5 of 31 Nights of Halloween Wrong Turn Ohhh, the magnificent time of what I consider the best time of quality horror that's modern; the early 2000's. During this time, there were some amazing films coming out, that were both new and revolutionary. Wrong Turn came out at the right time. It's effects are amazing and terrifying, just as they should be. The plot is simple but has the ability to branch off. It's the perfect combination to make a stellar horror film, which this is. The only thing I wish about this movie is that it didn't spawn those sequels, because they are literally the worst things I have ever seen (have you seen Wrong Turn 4?)
