Haven't checked in on the science & religion scene in a minute—and it's quite a muddle here—but dread mood achieved all the same. That synth driving us forward, keeping the pressure on... pulse of a future lying in wait.

HOOPTOBER 16 A FILM WITH DREAMS AS PART OF THE PLOT _____ note to self: a green liquid never means anything good in a horror movie. case in point, it’s Satan in this instance. while not as good as its spiritual predecessor and definitely takes a while to get going, this one’s got some pretty cool ideas. i liked the “dream” sequences that felt kind of analog horror before analog horror was a thing. Spooky! and that last scare did get me. i will admit.

Not a whole lot happens but it’s still pretty fun, wish Donald Pleasance had a bit more to do though.  Those dream signal shots were super creepy.  7/10
