Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

This is extremely wicked, it's a good thing he's been sentenced to death, he's very narcissistic. This movie is a bit boring because it only shows Ted's life in prison and trial, I thought this movie would romanticize Ted, but it didn't. The ending made me hold my breath for a moment and then let it out in relief, I felt like I was suffocating too.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is a film that banks on lead Zac Efron's charms, rather than give a fully fleshed out account of Ted Bundy's crimes and trial. Efron does a decent job, but certainly isn't the first person I'd think to choose to play Bundy, but in the end was a decent enough choice, but when the lead's decent portrayal is the best thing about the film, there's a fundamental problem with the story. Having seen the documentary that came out earlier this year, I was familiar with the case, which made this all the more disappointing, as it doesn't provide any new insight into the life of Bundy. The 110 minute runtime seemed to go by at a nearly glacial pace, especially after the first half of the film, which was the biggest surprise, as that's when the more interesting aspects start to emerge. Overall, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is a dull version of Bundy's life, only banking on the charisma that Efron has, rather than creating a new take on his life and crimes.
