The Avengers

Some very good action scenes, in the mist of a slow, drawn out picture. Lots to love here, lots to not love as much. Ironman comes off very, very annoying, like very obnoxious. I know that’s his character, but how anyone could like him is beyond me. The rest of the avengers are cool though. The fight scenes are well choreographed and the CGI is top class, it’s a mixed bag of a film in honesty. Some of the scenes are truly breathtaking, and some of the jokes are funny, just not all of them. It’s very hard to rate this, maybe out of everything I’ve watched this is the hardest to score. It does feel very long while watching, and towards the end you start to think ‘when’s this over’, but at the same time it’s hard to not enjoy large parts of this. Personally, I think it’s a good film, which could’ve been better if the pacing improved and they cut maybe 20 minutes of screen time.

[30 Day Film Challenge] Day 10: your favorite superhero film. obviously there are other superhero movies that came out after this one with better cgi's and plot, but i can't help but go back to this one. what this movie achieved; compiling 6 characters from 4 diff movies into one big movie is amazing! yeah, infinity war and endgame were good and served some sick cgi and scenes, but it wouldn't exist without this movie.
