OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film)
"— You want people to look at you for your talent and skill, and you're also, you know, 18. I want people to think I'm, like, pretty and cool... and funny or whatever. If you find yourself thinking about that too much, I think you get so disillusioned from real life and nothing good can come of that."
OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film)
Meu ranking do álbum: 1. favourite crime 2. deja vu 3. brutal 4. drivers license 5. good 4 u 6. jealousy, jealousy 7. happier 8. traitor 9. enough for you 10. hope ur ok 11. 1 step forward, 3 steps back
OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film)
I've never really got into music that much until a few years ago. Olivia Rodrigo was one of the first 20 or so artists I listened to back then around the time sour released. I think I've listened to the full album of guts like more than 5 times over lol. It feels weird to review this as a film when its basically just the whole album with a lot of other things added. However I feel like this made me appreciate the album a lot more. Seeing this made it feel a lot more emotional and meaningful. I gotta appreciate how well this sticks to being a movie and being basically a giant music video. It blends it very well together. It fully feels like a movie on its own as well. I really enjoyed the style and aesthetics behind this. It adds a lot more to the way I view these songs. The remixed songs were also great too. I did like how this showed a full expansion on the sour album. I definitely wasn't expecting to relisten to the whole album again though lol. I do prefer guts but I don't know when I'll watch the Netflix one of these.
