Diary Entry forPumpkinhead
If I do become a director I would love to remake this. It has so much potential and I think with an upped gore factor it could be a lot better

Man this movie looks AWESOME and the first 20-30 minutes are great but after that… it’s sooooo boring. I also didn’t care about any of the teens lol, don’t even remember their names. 6/10
Pumpkinhead
Folk-horror jam best described as a grim fairy tale rendered through the mind of a makeup and FX king with an interest in deploying the most melancholic yet ravenous interpretation on grief. Part late 80s slasher and part xenomorph playground creature-feature survival horror—and both infused with a folk backwoods setting. Such a rapturous experience. Honestly a very chilling film! Stan Winston choosing to follow this directorial debut with one of the most mucho-bizarre buddy-cop films—think E.T. meets 48 Hrs—is always a hilarious thought.
