Perfect in every way, Toy Story is a classic for all ages and will be forever. Not a lot more to say about this, other than I’ll show it to my children, and they will show it to their children. One of the greatest films ever made.

Cineclub In the Boxxd #64. Cuando la imaginación cobra vida. Dios sabe cuantas veces he visto Toy Story (la ultima vez en un reestreno), al punto en el que ya no sé si crecí con esta película o si la película creció conmigo. 31 años cumplirá esta joya y sigue viéndose (aún con sus limitaciones) fresca y gigante para la animación 3D, y como ésta en su día fué la responsable en redefinir la animación tal como la conocemos (y que hasta la fecha seguimos tratando como estándar, a excepción de propuestas más artesanales que la alcanzan y superan) sin perder nunca la sencillez y la calidez. Sabes que tu película será la raja eterna cuando cada minuto se vuelve un meme, desde antes de que el término fuese el pan de cada día. Ese momento cuando Buzz y Woody vuelan... eso es cine 🚬 No podré navegar... nunca más.

Toy Story

Warm and nostalgic, with great characters and plenty of humor. The animation is impressive for its time, and the story manages to captivate both children and adults. Sometimes the gags are a bit simplistic, but that doesn't detract from the fun. A classic that's still entertaining.
