Mortal Kombat: Annihilation

"The fate of the universe will be decided as it should be.......in MORTAL KOMBAT!" Um this was suprisingly good. I have no clue why this has so low reviews. Besides some late 90s wonky cgi this was pretty good. I might have even enjoyed it slightly over the first. This one just feels very reminiscent of the games more. However it still made a weird character choice by changing who raidens brother is. However every character improved and I enjoyed all of them except Shao Kahn, why did they make him human 🤦‍♂️. I also hatr how they treated Johnny Cage in this compared to the first. A lot of the designs in this look straight out of the game especially for cryax or smoke. The costumes for characters in this are flawless, yet they still didnt give kitana a mask. Also apparently the red ninjas black counterpart is supposed to be noob saibot? Weird. The plot this time felt more enjoyable. A lot of the fight scenes were not dragged so long out this time and I actually liked them.The vfx and cgi look wonky and bad but for a 90s movie I'm not complaining. I was expecting way worse than what I got. This is also one of those fun bad films.
