Well damn, I thoroughly enjoyed that! Kevin Smith's sophomore effort in film-making is bolder, larger and far riskier than "Clerks". Smith experiments with long takes, bigger stakes and crazier scenarios. The setting is a really fun backdrop and is heavily utilized (as one would hope). I really liked the editing for Jay and Silent Bob's introduction here! It's a simple edit but it has so much power/energy that I was super impressed by Anyone familiar with his previous film will recognize that this feels like a grander version of that one (even down to the main characters feeling very similar to Dante and Randall) This movie is pretty funny and I enjoyed it a lot! Maybe not as much as "Clerks" but that film is every film students' wet dream (myself included)
