Assault on Precinct 13

starts off really boring and slow, if you’re into that sort of thing then check it out. it picks up in the last 30 minutes. leigh is that bitch and she’s kind of who i aspire to be idk. it’s a shame laurie zimmer stopped acting, she was good at it.  my main takeaway from this film is that white men are always the problem. who kills someone and then tries to go to a phone booth instead of getting the hell out of there!?

For some reason, I thought this would be a little more action-packed, something along the lines of all those gang members against an actual fully-staffed police precinct. Still decent though, Carpenter does a good job with the smaller casts anyways and with helping the audience to have those same feelings of isolation as those stuck in the precinct.
