Pretty good, Princess Peach and Bowser steal the show from the Mario brother but that’s not a bad thing. Overall it’s just okay, the story is unbelievably basic but tried and tested I guess. The post credit was good and I look forward to the sequel.

I remember liking The Super Mario Bros. Movie my first go around, but I also remember thinking that the pacing and dialogue were bad. On a rewatch, the pacing and dialogue stood out much more. It's so atrocious that it makes the strengths of the film nearly unnoticeable. Honestly, the voice acting, while still great, doesn't leave as much of an impact as it did on my first and second viewings. If you have seen this movie and enjoyed it, don't watch it again. Keep the magic you have associated with the film. Chances are I'll see the sequel when it comes to theaters.

Com um ótimo visual, referências certeiras e um carisma único de seus personagens (principalmente a versão dublada em PT-BR). Esse filme é uma homenagem ao universo da franquia Mario e seus demais personagens. Cagando a desde sua primeira versão no Nintendo a até suas versões mais recentes no mundo 3D da franquia. Porém, esse filme não escapa do texto simples, com pouca substância e mais dedicado a fazer uma maratona de fanservices dos mais variados a até sua conclusão simples e básica. Um bom filme.

Um filme lindo, com um apelo visual incrível, personagens carismáticos e que, se você jogou ao menos um jogo de Mário na vida... Você vai sair da sessão feliz e arrisco a dizer até emocionado. Porém é um filme que não tem muita substância no seu texto, sendo um filme que apela 100% pra sua Nostalgia e tanto a narrativa quanto o roteiro são os mais simples possível. Um filme lindo, com personagens carismáticos, um designe incrível, porém com um texto e uma narrativa simples, se você for um fã da franquia, ou uma criança que só quer ver uma diversão rápida e surtada, você tá em casa. Agora se você procura um filme de animação com fortes reflexões... Aí você está no lugar errado.
