Tony Todd is the MVP here, and I like how Barbara has an actual personality in this one. Aside from that though, this film doesn’t hit the same as the original. The practical effects were okay, but I expected a little more tbh. My biggest issue is the changes they made to the circumstances surrounding Cooper and Ben’s deaths, respectively; I was very disappointed with the way they handled it. An ok remake, but George A. Romero and his original black-and-white masterpiece from 1968 will always have my heart🖤

I don't care what yall say this is better than the original. I unironically enjoyed this more than the original. Almost everything in this improves on the original. All the characters are way better. Barbara actually does something in this one. Tony Todd as Ben was also great. The zombies looked pretty cool aswell. The whole cellar thing is basically barely present in this which I am so grateful for. I hated that in the original. The whole film is basically the original plot wise though. So I can't really say much more than what I already said about the original.
