Hold on, is it allowed? Is it legal? How old is he? He's tryin to be cool kids huh? Nailed it i think, but kinda tragic at the end. Maybe it cause you ignore what your mom saying, but that's a puberty you'll be rebel sometimes.

81/100 Now fellas it is gay to say thank you? If only Ian wasn’t such a bitch and had been a better brother but then again Ian is a lonely dipshit who has an inferiority complex to his younger brother. Worst person in the film and yes despite the context of the other characters, it’s not even close. Now on the other hand, Sunburn was having the time of his life, he got to experience everything that people don’t even until their mid 20s, not a good thing and the film shows that. There’s a great multitude of characters here all of who represent something. Ray is a kid who’s ambitious and skilled and wants to use that to get out of the hood, he actually wants to do something with what he’s good at. Fuckshit comes from a privileged background so he doesn’t feel the burden to do anything other than enjoy, hang out party. Fourth Grade like Ray loves doing what he is good at and all he needs a bit of encouragement and he gets that from Ray. Ruben comes from a harsh household and he was basically Sunburn before Sunburn so he naturally feels uncomfortable when a kid he introduced seemingly takes his place in the hierarchy. It’s important to note however that they’re all just good kids, they’re growing up in a time, in certain households, in certain environments where it is cool to just do what everyone is doing, where you can either bundle up inside like Ian or do all this fucked up shit and get along like Sunburn. There’s cons to both and I think they show that pretty well. Ultimately however, they are there for one another and Dabney sees that. She sees that there’s more responsible guys like Ray who are willing to protect Sunburn even if the others aren’t. It’s a strong friendship that comes with a poisoned chalice, you fuck up, you stabilise it over time but eventually, you will fix up. I can see why this film might be quite off putting for a few and why some might feel that art has its limits but in all fairness, they are showing what many kids of that era have gone through, many make it out, some stay and some don’t. It’s a generational divide that carves a pocket for itself in this rapidly changing world. I liked it more than I thought I would. Those kids gave some solid performances. Also, $40 for a used board is not a fucking ripoff??? And get your shoes off your bed you fucking idiot.
