6 Paws Under
Tom & Jerry walked so this cute little film could float

Ocean's Eleven
I didn't really really like it until it was like 14 minutes to the end and then I fell in LOVE + an extra half star for the fuck ass PowerPoint transition that made me laugh my ass off every single time

My Friend in the Jingle Truck
So adorable and the art style is amazing

Palestine 36
After working to bring this film to Ramallah on three separate, exhausting, and packed nights, I was finally able to watch it today after 3 months of utter burn out. I want to start by acknowledging the stunning cinematography and the equally as stunning soundtrack. No matter how many times I see the opening sequence with the title card, it never fails to give me goosebumps all over... ... that being said, however, there a lot of things that I find myself not able to resonate with. I do agree with others when they say this film needs to exist, because it certainly does, but perhaps it doesn't do much beyond that. I am certain I'm not the only one who feels like this a dramatized history book that somehow came to life, which is not inherently a bad thing, but there's a human element that is missing beyond the history of it all. There are some creative choices, as well, that completely ruined the experience for me. Ranging from Dhaffer L'abbdine's character's terrible dialect (despite my complete respect and appreciation for him as an actor and individual), to the absolute chaos of this endlessly sprawling cast, and more, a lot of the magic of the film seems to be shattered and lost. I can't say I didn't enjoy it, and I also can't say it didn't leave me with an indomitable sense of doom thinking about how every single thing happening in this film is happening today (perhaps with triple the amount of cruelty now), which is more than a lot of films can do for me, so it would be utterly unfair to say this isn't an objectively good film overall. Hats off to the amazing Annemarie Jacir, who I had the pleasure of meeting following the release of this film, and to everyone who worked on this film.

La Jetée

Marie Antoinette
Idk man I don't think Marie would've liked Converse

The Talented Mr. Ripley
So strange I love it. Matter of fact I love any role where Matt Damon is playing a little freak! Yum

Matthias & Maxime
I'm not sure how I feel about this film

The Nice Guys
Surprisingly really liked this, but I agree with other people when they say it's missing something. Again, Ryan Gosling has managed to charm me, and the scene in the car with the massive fucking bee is hilarious when at the end of the film March freaks out when he sees a bee at the bar. All in all, a solid 3.75! P.S.: if I had a dollar for everytime Ryan Gosling appeared in a film that had hot pink typography in its credits, I'd have 3, which isn't a lot... but it's weird that it happened thrice, right?

The Guilty
Jake Gyllenhaal for one hour and thirty minutes straight

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
There's a lot of things that are profoundly wrong with this film that I am too teary-eyed, as per usual, to get into (and that haven't been properly discussed and fleshed out by others on here), but man it still managed to win me over.. "Penelope said begets?" was also hilarious

Southpaw
Jake Gyllenhaal and Rachel McAdams holy shit

Meet the Fockers
Awww little focker on the way

Meet the Parents
We needed more roles of Robert De Niro being a cat obsessed control freak

Death Proof
Absofuckinglutely yes

Nymphomaniac: Vol. II
End is devastating

The Hateful Eight
"You gon make a deal with this diabolical bitch?"
