Spanish: Entré sin saber absolutamente nada y, de manera sorprendente, me cautivó. No sabía de la existencia de este anime hasta ayer, que me invitaron a verla por un cumpleaños. No entendí mucho del lore, ya que no me vi las otras películas ni temporadas, pero aun así fue entretenido. Fue mi primera experiencia 4DX y resultó muy interesante, aunque mi mejor experiencia en cine seguirá siendo Oppenheimer. Visualmente es hermoso; me encanta lo extravagante que puede ser el dibujo a mano, sobre todo esa caracterización exagerada de las emociones tan común en el anime. Escuchar la música en los animes siempre es un placer para mi. Las batallas fueron realmente buenas y excelentemente bien coreografiadas, pero lo que más disfruté fueron los momentos en los que se tomaban el tiempo de contarte la historia detrás de un personaje y sus motivaciones. Mi favorita, sin duda, fue la de Akaza. Por un instante me recordó a Grave of the Fireflies, solo por el hecho de que tenía que robar para conseguirle medicinas a su padre enfermo. Ese arco narrativo me fascinó y se me hizo muy memorable; no quiero spoilear nada, así que me ahorro la explicación, pero amé el final. Con él, la línea entre villano y víctima se desdibuja por completo. También fue muy divertido compartir diferentes puntos de vista entre las personas que no sabían nada del lore con las personas que sí. Ese diálogo fue muy agradable e interesante. Quiero ver más anime. Spirited Away fue la que inició este viaje y me llevó a descubrir Grave of the Fireflies, una de las películas más devastadoras y transformadoras que he visto en mi vida. Después de esa obra maestra soy una persona distinta; dejó una cicatriz en mi alma. Nunca olvidaré esa noche. --------------------------------------------------------------- English: I went in knowing nothing, and to my surprise, it hooked me right away. I didn’t know this anime existed until yesterday, when I was invited to see it for a friend's birthday. I couldn’t follow all the lore since I haven’t watched the other seasons or movies, but it was still a fun and engaging ride. It was also my first 4DX experience— very cool and immersive—though my best theater experience will always be Oppenheimer. Visually, this film is gorgeous. I love how hand-drawn animation can be so extravagant, especially the way anime exaggerates emotions. For me, the music in anime never fails to stand out. I need to listen to the soundtrack and the series' openings. The battles were thrilling and so well animated, but what stayed with me the most were the quieter moments between fights when they revealed a character’s backstory and motivations. My favorite by far was Akaza’s. For a moment, it reminded me of Grave of the Fireflies for the desperation of stealing medicine for his sick parent. His arc was powerful and mesmerazing. I won’t spoil it, but the ending floored me. With him, the line between villain and victim completely fades. What I also loved was sharing impressions after the movie: those of us who knew nothing about the lore versus those who knew it all. That exchange was both fun and eye-opening. This film left me wanting more anime. Spirited Away was what first pulled me into this world, and it eventually led me to Grave of the Fireflies, one of the most devastating and life-changing films I’ve ever seen. That masterpiece changed me and left a scar on my soul. I won't never forget that night.

Akaza battle was really the highlight of everything, the backstory was good if not a little long. Animation, effects, soundtrack, editing, all pretty top tier as expected of ufotable. Makes a frankly mediocre manga into a very enjoyable experience. How good the other two will greatly effect how I think about this one
