A Man Escaped

A ‘simplistic’ film, stripped down to the most basic form, makes for an interesting and intriguing watch. A man escapes is what happens. And not much more, or so you’d originally think. That’s kind of the genius behind this, the brutality and coldness it feels, like a war film should.
