Garden State

This movie is definitely a product of it's time and has some questionable dialogue at times but I'll be damned if I didn't enjoy it. It's a very mundane film but I enjoyed that. When it's done well it can be great! Also c'mon, this movie has Natalie Portman and The Shins! It's like it was made for me. Speaking of which, Natalie Portman is a damn good lead! She's absolutely the heart of this film Some stuff here hasn't aged well but for what it's worth, I think it's worth watching!
