It seems Scorsese and De Niro can’t make a bad film together, as TKOC is another classic. The dark nature has inspired many others, the acting is superb and plot is gripping. A truly great picture which almost anyone will enjoy.

The King of Comedy is uncomfortably fascinating and brilliantly acted. Robert De Niro delivers a strong performance as a strange, almost tragic figure, and the blend of satire and psychodrama works extremely well. The King of Comedy sometimes feels uncomfortably real—and that's precisely what makes it so powerful and special.
