How to Blow Up a Pipeline

this film has everything that makes you fall in love with a film. an amazing cast, an impeccable score, great themes that are relevant to today and amazing pacing. it was absolutely stunning. each character had such a well developed back story that provided a strong, passionate reason why they wanted to blow up the pipeline. definitely going to be watching this over and over again. i can’t wait to see more from this director.

It’s hard to write about this without sounding hyperbolic, but here’s some quick thoughts: Holy shit - THE TENSION!! I’m all in on Ariela Barer, the actor, the writer, whatever she wants to do, I’m here for it. Froseth is great, and thankfully in a much better film than last year’s Little Stick. “Any time anyone has challenged authority they call it terrorism. And then when the terrorism works, they lie about the legacy and say that it was all passive, non-violent, kumbaya shit. When it’s not!” Still fantastic the second time around. One of the least talked about and low-key releases of the year but it’s one of the best, as quiet as it’s kept. Tight, tense, a sucker punch to the jaw of political complacency. Great acting as well from a (mostly) unknown cast. Music was sick as well, the composer made a fantastic choice with the synths and such. Very Tenet meets Good Time. Loved.
