gente é muito bom, muito mesmo, conseguiu me prender do início ao fim. eu gosto de imaginar que truman vai conseguir fazer o que ele tem vontade, viajar e conhecer novos lugares, o que poderia ter sido abordado pelo menos nos pós créditos (que deveria ter) do filme, mostrando ele e a Sylvia juntos com filhos, única coisa negativa do filme q foi essa.

Spanish: Me encanta cómo esa realidad fabricada se fragmenta aún más con las reacciones cínicas y falsas de los actores que intentan nublar el despertar de Truman, quien desea de manera profunda ser un explorador del mundo. Truman es la estrella de televisión más honesta y divertida que puede existir y nosotros como espectadores sufrimos al igual que él al presenciar circunstancias que nos gritan que todo es una gran mentira. Es como si, en el fondo, él deseara volverse más consciente, pero al mismo tiempo no querer serlo; esto se refleja en su reacción cuando el barco quebró la pared al final del océano: un momento muy simbólico donde la verdad te deslumbra y entras en un trance lleno de confusión y de emociones contradictorias. Alegóricamente, Fiji representa su pildora roja, es el símbolo de su liberación; es un boleto directo a un mundo cruel y lleno de maldad, pero también repleto de amor y humanidad; un contraste necesario para su progreso como ser humano. Esta película es bellísima. El soundtrack es hermoso y la cinematografía es muy pintoresca. Amé, de manera desenfrenada, cada instante donde Truman se torna un poco "crazy" ante el espectador y la falsedad de su mundo. Es irónico cómo, al final, ellos consiguen lo que más deseaban: emociones reales en la pantalla a costa de aprisionar a un hombre y negarle su libre albedrío. Truman fue convertido en un espectáculo, como una rata de laboratorio diseñada para generar alegría y esperanza… a costa de sí mismo. Si bien, es gratificante y hermoso mejorar por un instante la vida del prójimo mediante la caridad, el amor y el sacrificio. No obstante, ese gozo solo proviene del mérito de ser consciente de nuestro libre albedrío y de las consecuencias de nuestras acciones. Y evidentemente, para Truman eso estaba latente a raíz de aquellos que impedían el fin del show que tanto dinero les había generado con su libertad. Para seguir con el juego, le generaron traumas para cortarle las alas, para impedir que siguiera su verdadera pasión: explorar. Sí, ese mundo "ideal" que le ofrecían era bello, pero completamente falso. Y el hecho de que aceptemos la realidad que nos ofrezcan, no significa que no seamos merecedores de ese sufrimiento que tanto evitamos, pero que nos permite apreciar la calma y la tranquilidad que brinda la felicidad. Ese mundo enfermizo que tanto le impiden experimentar es necesario para su crecimiento, ya que la felicidad requiere de sufrimiento, de libre elección y de tropiezos. Truman es la prueba viviente de que, tarde o temprano, la verdad encuentra su camino para desmantelar toda la farsa. Es una genialidad cómo se desarrolló todo, fue tan demasiado entretenido, divertido, tensionante y tan emocional al mismo tiempo. La escena del barco y SU VOLUNTAD de querer ser libre fue sencillamente hermosa y devastadora. Literalmente dijo "sobre mi cadáver". Me fascinó cómo todos perdieron la cabeza ante su rebeldía, incluso el mismo creador del show, quien lo vio ir más allá de sus límites. Tomaron decisiones realmente arriesgadas porque fácilmente pudo haber muerto en la pantalla tal cual como nació. Todo era como un videojuego donde no tenías poder sobre el personaje, pero sí del mundo que lo rodea. Y lo que hace divertido a ese juego, es justamente cómo el personaje reacciona ante los cambios. Y es irónico experimentar las mismas sensaciones que los espectadores del show. Era demasiado meta y me encantó. Definitivamente, es una película muy entretenida, divertida, emocionante, pero sobre todo profunda. Es una genialidad de principio a fin con actuaciones icónicas y espectaculares. Sabía que me había gustado antes, pero dios... no esperaba que me encantara tanto. Es brillante. PD: También fue muy gracioso ver su reacción ante la cantidad innumerable de mensajes subliminales que le tiraban al pobre constantemente para que dejara la locura de querer escapar ajsjsjjss amé, pero imagina estar en su posición... sería un horror que todo lo que veas sea una indirecta muy directa sobre ti y tus delirios. I loved, in a completely unhinged way, every single moment where Truman started to act “crazy” in front of the audience and the fake world around him. It’s ironic how, in the end, they got exactly what they always wanted: real emotions on screen… at the cost of imprisoning a man and denying his free will. Truman was turned into a spectacle—like a lab rat designed to generate joy and hope… at the cost of his own self. And yes, it’s beautiful and gratifying to improve someone’s life, even if just for a moment, through charity, love, or sacrifice. But that joy only makes sense when it comes from the merit of being aware of our free will and the consequences of our actions. And clearly, for Truman, that possibility was always sabotaged by those who couldn’t let the show end—because it had made them too much money to let him go. To keep playing the game, they gave him traumas to clip his wings and stop him from following his true passion: exploring. Yes, that "ideal" world they gave him was beautiful—but completely fake. And just because we accept the reality we’re given doesn’t mean we don’t deserve the suffering we try to avoid, because it’s through that suffering that we learn to appreciate peace and joy. That twisted world they kept him from experiencing was necessary for his growth. Happiness requires suffering, free will, and missteps. Truman is living proof that, sooner or later, truth finds a way to dismantle all the lies. The way everything unfolds is sheer brilliance. It’s so wildly entertaining, funny, tense, and emotional all at once. That scene on the boat… his will, HIS WILL to be free... was just devastating and beautiful. He literally said, “Over my dead body.” I was amazed by how everyone lost it over his rebellion—even the creator of the show, who saw Truman push beyond every limit. They made some extremely risky choices because he could've easily died on screen, just like he was born there. It was like a video game where you don’t control the main character—but you do control the world around them. And what makes the game fun is precisely how the character reacts to the changes. And it’s ironic to realize we were having the same experience as the viewers in the show. It was so meta, and I loved it. Definitely, this is an incredibly entertaining, funny, exciting—and above all—deep movie. It’s a work of genius from beginning to end, with iconic and outstanding performances. I already knew I liked it… but wow, I didn’t expect to love it this much. It’s brilliant. P.S.: It was also hilarious to see Truman’s reaction to the countless subliminal messages constantly thrown at him, just to make him drop the “crazy” idea of escaping ajskakaks I LOVED IT. But seriously, imagine being in his shoes… it’d be pure horror. Everything you see would feel like an extremely obvious hint aimed directly at your “delusions.”
