This isn’t great, and in fact, is downright bad at points. But it’s a lot of fun, with Stallone trying to make himself believable as an outdoorsman, and Lithgow chewing the scenery with a British accent that still can’t get past his essential Lithgow-ness. That said, they don’t make them like this anymore. While there are some definite sound stages, a lot of this was clearly shot on location, and the stunts were actually being performed. It helps the movie so much more than the current green screen crap. Easily brings the movie up a half star.
