While We're Young

"No, you were right. He's not evil, he's just young" While We're Young is actually one of the best from director Noah Baumbach. Interesting premise, about a middle-aged spouse who don't fit the criteria of being a "normal" mature and old spouse, just like their other friends. Basically Frances Ha, but for older people lol. I think this movie is so reflective and so human, but probably I'm still too young to fully understand and feel this one. I will keep While We're Young on my rewatch-watchlist and watch it again one day in the future when I think I'm old enough to rewatch it.

Noah Baumbach logra captar una relación genuina y honesta con la que puede ir exteriorizando opiniones y decisiones del artista mientras desahoga sus propios pensamientos en una comedia que tiene un sentido del ridículo bastante particular. No todo es maravilloso pero es una película tan medida en todo los sentidos que la ejecución de Baumbach es la esperada, podría estar mejor pero creo que jamás se plantea como una película tan ambiciosa como para ofrecer más de lo que ves venir.
