Cat's Eye

Who knew that trying to quit smoking could be so scary? Who knew that stealing someone else's wife could be so scary? Who knew that adopting a stray cat could be so scary? As a King fan myself, the first two "short films" are pretty faithful to the original stories they are based on (the third being an entirely new tale that is not King-based). I loved all the little references too. Super meta! They actually brought King on to write the script, and it shows. The actors do their job, the cat does his (being cute of course), and it all works well together. My only major complaint is with the music. Sorry Alan: it works here and there but overall, it's just way too 80s for me.
