tfw mrs. peacock and miss scarlet start doing it in the hall with the scissors .... love the costume design here, the distinct colorways were so visually delicious, and quite clue-esque. honestly i had a great time with the visuals overall, the extravagance and color of the house contrasted with the isolation and coldness of the snow, the interesting shot composition moments, the musical numbers, really was a great time, but im lowkey easy to please when it comes to a fun murder mystery so take that as you will. one thing i will say tho is that, with all these interwoven romance plots and juicy dramatics, so many of them are like dangerously close to incest but like technically dodging it, cause having this much relationship drama and interconnected love triangles at a family christmas gathering should be criminal. kinda the same vibe as my creepy grandpa on my mom's side of my family trying to hit on my poor nana on my dads side, but more lesbian, and pretty much the same level of depressing., speaking of depressing, Mademe Chanel's song made me tear up. idk what else to say other than lesbian + musical + murder mystery is like a beautiful Christmas gift made specifically for me.
