This spy thriller plays like a noir from the mid 60s. Apparently it’s ment to be a 007 style of film but for me this feels nothing like a 007 picture. Michael Caine's as Palmer is good but he’s nowhere near as charismatic as any of the Bonds, plus the story isn’t as interesting to me. Overall it’s an okay film, very British but that’s not the worst thing in the world. To me the film is pretty okay, better than average but not amazing either.
