It’s hard to exaggerate on the shear size of this film. It is, by far, the biggest at film you’ll ever see. The amount of CGI in this is on a whole new level, but that isn’t a bad thing. Everything looks absolutely stunning, from the worlds designs to the costumes and make up to the sand worms. It’s truly a spectacle to behold. The story is also fantastically told, not too much action and not too much talking, a good balance of both. The acting by everyone involved is breathtakingly good, and I couldn’t be more excited for part two. This is a true masterpiece. Watched at Vue with my beautiful ❤️

Se eu dissesse que foi uma decepção eu estaria mentindo pq eu nunca coloquei expectativa nesse filme, tudo que não me agradou eu já esperava, e o que me agradou eu não esperava. O motivo pelo qual eu não coloquei nenhuma expectativa pode parecer besta, mas foi justamente por causa do ator que faz o protagonista: Timothee Chalamet. Posso nem ver esse menino nem pintado de ouro, todo filme que tem ele eu fico com preguiça de assistir. Não que ele seja um ator ruim, longe disso, eu só não gosto dele porque sim, não me agrada. Voltando ao filme, tem certas cenas que valem a pena assistir e que comprovam a maestria do diretor, pena que não são maioria. Muita gente gosta e elogia, e é super compreensível. A fotografia é linda, mas eu simplesmente não consegui me conectar com a história e muito menos com os personagens. A ironia agora é que eu estou colocando expectativas no segundo filme e eu acho que vou gostar bastante. Pq? Não sei, mas dentro de mim existe esse achismo. (Não aceito críticas e muito menos fico calado).
