As remarkable as this film is I just don’t really see why it’s as loved as it is. Sure, maybe it’s just not for me, but at times this really drags and the runtime confirms that I’ll probably never rewatch this. Some long film don’t necessarily feel long, but this does. Sure, its cinematography is beautiful, the scale of it is absolutely unbelievable and the story itself is amazing. I really wish I loved it as many others do but I didn’t. Sure, it’s definitely worth a watch for the scale of it alone, I just found it difficult to really get into. A masterpiece, but not necessary a masterpiece to me, still enjoyed it and I’m glad I watched though.

Lawrence of Arabia

What. A. Picture. All the times seeing it and I don't have more I can add, it's all up there-- ego and empire and every grain of sand. A minor life goal remains catching a 70mm screening at least once before I die. (Spotting Nicolas Roeg's name on the Second Unit credits, well I'll be! Mind goes right to Walkabout but now wiki telling me he was also briefly involved on Doctor Zhivago before being fired by Lean, whoops.)

Lawrence of Arabia

de fato, muito épico; mesmo com 3h47m de duração achei tranquilo de assistir, só o final que achei meio carregado. e achei muito engraçado como o Lawrence foi o white boy of the month dos árabes
