Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe have some of the best chemistry I’ve seen in film, a joy to watch. There is countless iconic scenes in this, especially Marilyn singing ‘Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend’. The outfits are also great in this, with vibrant colours and style to match. The only thing I didn’t like about this was how much music was in it. For somebody who doesn’t like musicals this was a bit much, but the strong plot and leads still made this an enjoyable watch. Maybe not Monroes best film, but it’s definitely up there and probably her most iconic.

a fun fact i learned sometime before i watched this film is that one of the swimmers accidentally knocked Jane Russell into the pool and they kept it in, very cool. Didn't know Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend was from this movie.
