Positives: I’m a fan of the animation, shoot me.  The voice acting is great as always. Some decent gags, nothing too funny but not terrible.  I liked the twist were they were acting in a movie set, though that was good. The side characters are okay, not terrible. The director in particular is likeable. Negatives: Velma is very annoying in this. I get that she’s always been kind of obsessed with mysteries, but in this it feels borderline psychotic. The explanation to the first Zombie Islands events is absolutely terrible. This is not a good sequel to the original, which many people love. I personally prefer the original, but I don’t think it’s as great as people make out. Controlling cats with whistles makes no sense. The black cat was never explained. The original had actually super natural beings, which this tries to explain, but it shouldn’t be explained, it was cool seeing super natural beings in Scooby Doo, this tries to ruin that. The biggest crime is how it tries to disprove the original, which is a far superior film. I feel this sequel could’ve been done right, but the dropped the ball on this one.
