girl whose favorite film is a new hollywood era film about two guys watches a new hollywood era film about two guys and really likes it. i am getting predictable to be frank! this is a very good character study anchored by its two lead actors. there’s something very realistic feeling about it, perhaps the way it’s filmed or the lack of any kind of score outside of music playing at bars and the like. films about masculinity just compel me.
