Diary Entry forRambo III
Another round of Rambo, these films are always very fun to watch. They’re mindless fun with a loose story in the background, most of the time it’s the incredible action which takes the spotlight. This one isn’t as good as the first two, with Hamid the child being so annoying it’s almost unbearable. To start with, I hate when films include kids for the sake of it, like most of the time nobody cares. Second, the kid gets shot in the leg, yet a few days later he’s walking fine again. Makes absolutely no sense. In the first Rambo the fightings in America, the second one is in Vietnam and this one is in Afghanistan. However, Rambo fights with the Afghans against the Russians. The villain is weak, yet the action scenes are great as always. There’s something very likeable about Sylvester Stallone, and you find yourself always routing for him. If you don’t pay much attention to the numerous plot holes and just focus on the action this is a very fun watch. My favourite part is when the grabs onto the moving tank and used it for cover, very cool Rambo.

Rambo III
First it was man vs town of cops then man vs army base now it's man vs whole army lmao. Rambo 3 is not what I would expect from the third entry in this franchise. I feel like it felt way too similar to rambo 2. Almost everything is the exact same. The Russian villian, the raiding army base to save prisoners, Rambo somehow surviving the most crazy situations. I just feel like this was too similar to 2. Despite that I would say this had some cool action scenes and kills though. I also feel like this was a bit more graphic in some scenes. That one gunpowder wound scene was pretty nasty but it looked good. I feel like rambo's character didn't really have anything but killing machine in this. He kinda just says nothing and kills for most of this film. He just doesn't feel like rambo in this. The new side characters were pretty basic, but I like how we get to see more of the bond between rambo and trautman. Overall this was basically just rambo 2 with slightly more graphic kills, except rambo 2 is superior. I think i enjoyed it, but at the same time it just felt bland. Since I found this so similar to 2 I'm not giving it a like (button)
Rambo III
an admittedly passive watch, so much that i would feel bad rating it. mediocre regardless, with some images that are better than you’d expect—this was the most expensive movie ever made at the time, and the money is on the screen. the story is infantile and jingoistic, obviously. you could do a hell of a lot worse for 100 minutes.
