One of my favourite films to release this yeah, Anora is simply great. It’s funny yet still has a strong emotional emphasis which work really well. Every character is interesting and unique, and the story turns into a ‘we need to find’ film pretty quickly, which is handled really well and probably the best parts of the film. Mikey Madison is of course great and makes this what it is, but the rest of the cast do an amazing job to support. A great time.

I had such a great time watching this! Sean Baker really knows how to bring out the raw, honest side of people’s stories, and it’s all there in this movie. It’s messy, sexy, sad, and somehow still full of joy. Easily one of the best films this year.

ended the movie having no idea what the fuck is the point of this, like im so confused??? what is this script? and what is that ending??? huh??? mikey madison carried hard for sure but that doesnt save the film at all and sean baker is going to hell
