Diary Entry forEverything Everywhere All at Once
Watched this on opening day in the UK and I had massive expectations. This film sat number 1 on Letterboxd last week and now it’s at number 3. There is lots about this I really enjoyed, the choreography, costume and themes were all great and well explored. For me, by far the biggest let down was the humour. Maybe it just wasn’t for me, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but in the screening I was in the crowd seemed split. Half the people were crying with laughter and the other half remained relatively silent with a few small laughs here and there. I was the latter. Wish I liked this more and for those who loved this, that’s great. I just really don’t find this type of film funny in anyway. Still though, I enjoyed watching and it’s obviously a good film.

i dont think there’s enough words to describe how perfect this movie is. like i cannot believe that this is a real fucking movie, it literally just changed the trajectory of my life. granted that my mommy issues intensifies but my life has been changed what the fuck. MOVIE OF THE FUCKING YEAR and michelle yeoh we are gonna get you that fucking oscar
