Diary Entry forThe Running Man

This is definitely a perfectly serviceable film but what has happened to Edgar Wright? This feels like it could honestly be directed by my anyone with a massive budget and decent talent. It has nothing that really stands out or interesting and doesn’t make you question or feel anything at all really. Sure, it’s fun and the action is good but it just feels like a shame. I feel the Edgar Wright of 20 years ago would’ve made a much better film with the same cast and budget. It’s fun, but ultimately disappointing.

The Running Man

The movie runs fast and looks great. It just never convinces you Glenn Powell could lose.

The Running Man

a very nice dystopian, action movie with an unexpectedly good political commentary! lowkey could add this to my marxist movie night list lol. the worldbuilding was good, i really loved the first two acts but act three fell through a little bit in my opinion. the acting performances were 10/10 AMAZING. girl dad glen powell you are so dear to me <3

The Running Man

c'est fun et divertissant, ça fait penser aux films d'action des années 80 90 mais ça manque vraiment d'effort dans la mise en scène, j'ai pas reconnus la patte d'edgar wright et c'est dommage.

The Running Man

A counterbalance to the empty, ludicrous, testosterone-filled machismo I saw yesterday in SLAP!!, Man uses autobiography concealed as fiction to point at the vulnerability, sensitivity, and trauma of incarcerated men (I must not that I neither condone or justify the things they have done). The way some of them switch between third and first person narrative is heartbreaking.
