“the steps you take to avoid your fate are the very steps that lead you to it. but thats just a literary conceit. in real life your history does not have to dictate your destiny” a teacher standing up as a parent figure will always be special to me. there’s just something about finding a parent figure you least expected that i find so endearing and heartwarming and i feel good. to make it even better it is set in the holidays! this is gonna be a holiday classic in my house (my room). Da’Vine Joy Randolph you are so LOVED!!!
