Diary Entry forThe 39 Steps
Short and enjoyable, this Hitchcock classic doesn’t live up to some of his later films, but is still an easy and fun watch. The fact this came out 85 years ago is absolutely crazy considering it still holds up in places today. The acting is good and plot interesting. Well worth a watch for any Hitchcock fan.

The 39 Steps
This is my first venture into Hitchcock’s earlier world, and I’m happy to say I am pleasantly surprised. The 39 Stepsseemed to go by in the blink of an eye, which was due to the pace of the film, only barely letting up to let you breathe before becoming exhilarating again. It’s a gorgeously shot film, and one that will certainly stand out for me in Hitchcock’s filmography.
The 39 Steps
Pamela was such a snitch
The 39 Steps
basically 30s mission impossible with really good camerawork and framing reminiscent of a noir
