Absolutely love the way this looks and the atmosphere it creates, reminded me a lot of bloodborne which is of course a major positive. The acting in this is also amazing, Lily-Rose Depp absolutely steals every scene she’s in and I loved watching what she brought to this. The story is somewhat simple and I’d be lying if I said that the Count was easy to understand, I wish he had subtitles when he spoke because I genuinely had no idea what he was saying half the time. Still, a great time and one of my favourites from 2024 (even though I watched this in 2025).
