Diary Entry forCléo from 5 to 7
A beautiful yet tragic look at a young woman's life, for one and a half hours. Despite the title, the film ends at 6:30pm, leaving the final 30 minutes up to your interpretation. Some truly fantastic cinematography and directing, coupled with a mesmerising score makes for a film of true beauty. When Cleo sings ‘San You’ it’s truly magically, an amazing song with Corinne Marchand really bringing the scene home. A great film.

I thoroughly enjoyed the French New Wave style of cinematography in this, everything looks so beautiful too. That opening tarot card scene is gonna live rent free in my head.
